Renewable comms built from the ground up
New to the world of PR, tech start-up Synaptec had two main requirements; to challenge and disrupt the established processes of fault automated in the transmission and renewables sector with their technology and set themselves on a path to become the leading authority in this specific area.
PR foundations and communications basics
When Synaptec started working with us their PR foundations were non-existent – no press kits, a mixed bag of photography, no media training in place. This meant we could work together to get the right basics in place to build a sustainable and effective PR strategy.
The process so far
Synaptec agreed with our recommendation to invest in new team photography. The result is a consistent appearance on their website, and head shot images that are press ready and useable for social platforms.
2. Press kits
In preparation for Synaptec’s first launch we created downloadable press kits that included a press release, product and company fact files, images and executive bios.
3. Media relations
Despite being early days in our agency/client relationship we’ve already made great strides in developing Synaptec’s relationships with their key trade titles – including an exclusive interview with the MD for their first product launch.
4. Animation series
After intensive training on Synaptec’s LightSense technology and products, we knew that the best way to convey the depth and scope of it all was through a series of animations. These are now underway.
We’re at the start of our journey with Synaptec and it’s a little early to record the impact of our work on their overall business objectives. However, this is something we measure and report on – so stay tuned for updates on progress.
