OUR ETHOS AND CULTURE
When founder, Sara Hawthorn, started InFusion she wanted to create a modern, flexible agency. One that responded smoothly to a changing industry, one which recognised and promoted healthy working practices, and one which valued staff and clients equally.
Rather than living to work and draining productivity levels through rigid frameworks, we choose to foster and promote the natural drive and passion of our staff through flexible working and the acceptance of shared responsibility.
This positive culture means when the pressure is on in a challenging situation all hands are on deck and committed to steering clients through the storm. And when that pressure eases and we return to calmer waters, we’re not tied to our emails or continually on call, which means our staff have a good work-life balance and our clients receive the service they expect from a professional public relations agency.

John Baron – Content Writer
John is fanatical about local journalism and the news industry in general. A lecturer on journalism and digital media degree course, John has huge experience of the news industry, working in a variety of roles for local newspapers since starting his career as a trainee reporter at the Leeds Weekly News back in 1994. He also worked for The Guardian on their experimental online 'Local' project, which focussed on engagement, collaboration and council accountability. All of which has given him a distinct writing style and talent for telling a good tale.
Telling stories, bringing what may seem to be dull information to life in different formats. Online and digital media fanatic. A keen gardener, he once grew a 14 ft tall sunflower and is particularly proud of his tomatoes.
